...starting to draw again. And hopefully resumes some of my writings.

Things have been tough, especially the last one year. You could even say I'm currently entering a new 'arc' for my own [Story of Life] right now. *laughs*

I don't know how long it'll take for me to return to my previous tempo. But in the meanwhile I'll upload some more Touhou sketches when I get the time.

Does anyone know any scholarship for a bachelor in animation? Or at least heard any info about it? I would really need it since I normally won't be able to afford the tuition. Any region, any school. <--total desperation

You ask? Well, eventhough you don't I'll tell you.

I've been VERY busy. Yeah, the college I'm in now is the best in my country and the major I take is the 2nd best... Genius am I not? Yet, I missed Deviantart so much.

((I totally love Summer!! XD ...since my body doesn't stand cold. Anyway, I just feel like rewriting a full blog about Void. Have a nice day, everyone!))

What is 'Void'?

The word 'void' derives from an Old French word 'vuide' which means 'empty'. Therefore according to its name, a Void is an empty being which has no emotions or personal desires. In return of being empty, Voids contain all of the knowledge of the universe.

As a container, a Void can't use the knowledge it has for itself. That's why a Void will look for a Master to give the knowledge. A Master in return has to help their Void to understand emotions so it can live on after it finishes its purpose.

Upon arriving to the physical plane, a Void will be given a medium to dwell in and a 'Persona' (mask). Different Voids have different masks, each depending on the Void's own natural emotion –the one it feels comfortable with but ironically also the one it lacks the most.

Origin of Voids

Long before everything there was only 'Aeon', the unlimited time. But then 'necessity' came, so the time must start moving. Thus the creation began. First there was only darkness, the upper air, and chaos. From them everything started to born and grow. Still, 'Chaos', the eternal hollow within the universe, couldn't disappear completely. From the remnant of it, 'Voids' was created. In order to fill the empty space, the Voids were given the role to directly connect the 'physical world' and 'universal soul' where the knowledge resided.

About Persona

When a Void wears its mask it would blend into their flesh, seemingly disappears, but leaves a tattoo-like mark on its face to indicate its presence (a blue tear mark under left eye in ZILCH's case). It would also gives the Void the ability to show an emotion equal to its name, but not acknowledging or feeling the emotion (laughing mask – giving ZILCH the ability to laugh, still he won't understand the reason of his laughter).

About Master

Void doesn't just exist without purpose. Though it is a container of all of the knowledge of the world, it can't stay silent as the knowledge falls into wrong hands. If that's happened, 'chaos' will be born and once again the world will return to nothingness. Thus its purpose is to find a Master it considers worthy of the knowledge. A Void must obeys its Master completely while a Master can't sit back all the time while receiving the knowledge. They have a responsibility to help their Voids learning emotions in order to fill the hollow left by the knowledge they take. That is the main concept of 'give and take' between a Void and a Master.

About Medium

A Void dwells in a medium ever since the physical body's birth, thus nothing seemingly different between them and normal human beings at first glance. Though at better examination, one can find a glimpse of differences, notably by their lack of emotion. Another thing to note is that most of Voids have a slight physical flaw or born as a half-blood, ignoring their parents heritage (ZILCH being a cat-hybrid and FAUX being a demon-hybrid as an example, even though they were born from normal human parents).

When its body dies a Void will be sent back to the 'universal soul', or given a new body to dwell if it hasn't finished its vow to its Master.

Population

Voids are scattered throughout the whole world. More than a half of them live their life alongside humans without knowledge of their real self, some acknowledge themselves and tend to live in seclusion, and only a few use their knowledge for a proper Master.

The government across the world seems to be interested in their uniqueness and each have their own ways on preserving them; some appreciate their rights like normal human beings and some think of them as mere tools for their nation (in the country ZILCH and FAUX were born, the government collected the Voids together in a cover of mental asylum. Their personal skills was honed to their limit and used for the country's sake, mostly for doing tasks considered dangerous or improper for humans like exploring new area, assassination, suicide bombing, etc. This method is widely used throughout the world, but the truth, of course, remains unknown to public).

There are also, in a very rare occasion, Voids that overcome their natural law and acknowledge emotions to their fullest. This kind of Voids, despite of having a vow, may have their own desire and use their Master like dolls. They are proven to be dangerous and hunted down as international criminals.

Thanks to recommendation from my school, I've been finally accepted in a public university under the department of computer science, plus I get a 50% tuition grant. What's more, this summer I'll be...
FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*sigh* I'll totally miss high school, especially that club I was in. If you ask what kind of club it is, I can't really describe it. Well, our activies consist of having a nonsense meeting in the tower every lunch break (my school is divided into two parts: the old building and the new building, which is connected by the library. The tower is way on the very end of the old building, which make it a *cough*haunted*cough* old tower), hanging around after school ends, having a siesta at the nearby mini-mart, wasting our money at the game center after week of exams (we always play the dance dance revolution, only to lose after the second stage), going to festival together, watching anime on the school's projector until the security chase us home...and yes people, it's a legal club and we even have a teacher in charge.

Argh! Gotta miss those days!

Oh yeah, even though I'll be free from school that doesn't mean I'll be completely free. There are part time jobs waiting for me in summer~ (/0w0)/ *laugh*
